Our professional pre-construction service includes value engineering in order to achieve an agreed maximum price.
During the construction phase, we keep dialogue going to ensure smooth running of the project. We have developed innovative schemes to encourage client involvement, such as site tours, time capsules, training initiatives and work experience for students on school projects.
We have an in-house maintenance division that deals with aftercare on all our projects to ensure that the same high level of service provided during construction phase continues after completion.
We are aware of the impact the building sector has on the environment both in the short and long term. Our aim is to use all available intelligence to ensure the buildings that we construct today do not compromise the quality of life in the future.
Key areas which we have identified to monitor are:
- Recycling of site and office waste
- Use of energy to eliminate waste
- Consideration and planning vehicular movements
- Carbon footprint
We have been able to deliver sedum roofs and grey water systems in several of our projects. We are continually looking to incorporate sustainable materials and systems as cost effective alternatives.
Integrated Management System (IMS)
We take our corporate responsibilities extremely seriously, approximately 15 years ago we implemented an Integrated Management System which was externally audited annually incorporating Health & Safety along with Quality and Environmental.
As legislation has moved on, so has our IMS We have recently chosen BSI to be our registration partners giving us greater verification of our actions.
All tiers of management and members of staff are inducted on its use, providing all with up to date information and procedures required to not only conform to current legislation but to instil a professional approach to these important issues.
