Description: The works consisted of the removal of all external windows and replacing with new Solar reflective double glazed units, new curtain walling systems with 'Trespa' panels inserts. The removal of the old heating system in itís entirety and replacing with new 'Biomass' wood burning boilers with energy efficient gas condensing boiler back up. The lighting system to the complete fire station was upgraded with new light fittings and the installation of PIR controllers to each room. New appliance bay heating and circulation fans were installed and the whole heating and ventilation system controlled by the installation of a new 'Building Management System'
